What are NCR Carbonless books and how do they work?
Carbonless NCR books use special carbonless paper that transfers your writing onto the sheets underneath—no messy carbon paper needed.
What’s the difference between duplicate (2-part) and triplicate (3-part) sets?
Duplicate = original + 1 copy. Triplicate = original + 2 copies. Choose based on how many records you need.
Should I choose pads or books?
Pads are glued sets; books are stapled and more durable—especially recommended for tradies and onsite use.
What sizes do you offer?
We offer A6, DL, A5, A4 and other custom sizes. Please ask.
Can you customise the layout?
Yes the entire book or pad is yours to personalise as you need for your business — your logo, branding and all fields are all fully customisable.
Do you have templates?
Yes we've been making invoice books, quote books, job order books and plenty of others for many years so we can design from scratch just for you, follow an idea from another business or use your supplied artwork.
What information should I include on my NCR forms?
Common fields include job details, pricing, ABN, customer info, and signatures.
What colour sequence do the sheets come in?
Duplicate: P1: White P2: Light Yellow, Pink, Green or Blue - you choose. Triplicate: P1: White P2: Light Yellow, Pink, Green or Blue, P3: Light Yellow, Pink, Green or Blue.
Can you number the pages?
Yes, we offer custom sequential numbering as standard - you choose the first number and we continue from there. And when you reorder we pick up where you left off. Sequential numbering is in red ink.
Do you offer perforations or tear-off strips?
Yes—books come standard with perforated sheets for clean tear-out, or even multiple perforations on each page - you tell us!
Can I have a hard cover or wrap-around writing shield?
Yes. We offer wrap-around shields for pads and hard covers for books so you can write cleanly without transferring onto other sets.
What paper weight or thickness do you use?
We use high-quality 80gsm carbonless paper. Crisp copies with no smudging.
Can you print in full colour?
Yes— the cheapest option is black, but we can also offer spot colour, or full CMYK on any sheet. Another idea can be full colour on the page you give to your customer, and then we will print black on the page you keep yourself.
Is the printing on one side or both sides?
Most customers use single-sided printing, but double-sided printing is available if needed.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Our minimum is typically 5 books, but we can print smaller or larger quantities depending on your needs. Because of the cost of set up the cost of less than 5 books is not much less cost than 5 books.
What is your production and delivery timeframe?
Standard turnaround is 5–7 business days from artwork approval for the printing and compilation process, and then 1 - 3 days for the courier.
Can I reorder easily, and do you keep artwork on file?
Yes. We store your artwork for fast, hassle-free reprints anytime.
Can I get a proof before printing starts?
Definitely. We supply a digital proof for your approval to ensure everything is correct before production. We will need your approval.
How durable are the books for field use or vehicles?
Our NCR books are built tough—ideal for tradies, drivers, and on-the-go work. Hard covers and stapled spines make them reliable in all conditions.
What are the pricing options and what affects the cost of NCR books?
Pricing depends on quantity, duplicate/triplicate sets, size, colour printing, numbering, and binding type. We provide clear, competitive quotes.
